The Maritime Jolie Hotel is set on its own private island in the River Nile, which provides excellent privacy for the family yet accessibility to Luxor.
And that is the point to underline: this is very family friendly setting, with children of all ages well catered for, with enough entertainments in the hotel grounds to keep the kids occupied between outings.
The staff are welcoming and friendly, the pools are excellent, and the overall hospitality is charming. With a variety of excursions from the hotel, there is little time to be bored.
It is the perfect place to explore Egypt, its apart from other downtown Luxor.
At Maritime Jolie Hotel there are many interesting characters like Cleo the camel, domesticated and comes to the pool area every morning.
Also weekly sports events like football matches between guests and the staff is great for fun.
Its swimming pool is one of the most clean swimming pool and staff at Maritime Jolie works hard to maintain it clean.
About the only negative thing that can be said about the Maritime Jolie is the decor - it has an old 70’s retro look about it. However, for that to be the worst thing that can be said about the hotel speaks volumes about the overall positive experience to be had.
